2011,2012, End of the world Or....No

Many people have been speculating as to whether or not the end of the world is fast approaching, helping to feed fire to the frenzied flame have been multiple media outlets (movies, books, t.v. specials and series) focusing on the topic of our destruction and how it will come about. Both religious communities, atheists, and agnostics...people from all walks of life.believe that it will occur either in 2011 or 2012, One group of people has gone so far as to sell and/or leave all of their worldly possessions as well as families behind; getting into mobile homes and driving across the country spreading the news that the end of the world will begin with the rapture on May 21. With all of this excitement over when the world will end, some people are becoming panicked and fearful, shut-ins to the rest of society, I personally don't think the world will be ending in this or next year and have to state an obvious fact. If the world comes to an end what can people do about it ? The fear and hate and excitement and puzzled beliefs, are all for naught. If you have lived a good life and think that there is an afterlife, then you can do nothing more, and if you think that world will end and nothing else happens, why not go live to the fullest. In a nutshell things are like this, if the world comes to an end on any date in the next few years than you have done what you wanted or feel you've needed and if it doesn't than you can keep living life just the way you have. There is nothing more/less to do for people to change the fate of all of humanity so doing what you can for yourself and those close to you should be your focus.
